The Island Park Community Field, is a registered charity, created to maintain and operate Island Park, by volunteers based in Kinlochleven.

Maintaining a green field within Kinlochleven through the dedication and hard work of volunteers putting on free activities for the community.

In recent times we have been able to organise a number of activities for the community...

  • We have run 2 gala days and 2 fireworks displays
  • Put volunteers through football coaching sessions
  • We currently have coaching sessions every Friday for the entire primary school after school
We hope to start a basketball session, summer programs using the island park and much much more
If we reach our fundraising target that would allow us to purchase a  dry container for our mower, and a base container with a kitchen and electricity to further reduce costs of events, currently we need to hire generators and food vans etc to come onto the field.

If we had this on site, we could work wonders!!

We live in a deprived area where not a lot of opportunities arise, we want to give the public a free space to come down and enjoy, the last green space practically left in our village.

Our village is situated about an hours s drive away from the nearest town, making it hard to get to bigger clubs and events.

Please help us make Island Park an even bigger focal point for our community.

Gift Aid Declaration

Boost your donation by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 donated.

Gift Aid is reclaimed by MyParkScotland from the tax you pay for the current year. Your address is needed to identify you as a UK taxpayer.

The additional funds generated through Gift Aid donations are invested in the park endowment fund which supports the long term management of our wonderful parks.

Adding Gift Aid to a £10 donation increased the amount claimed by MyParkScotland to £12.5

After paying platform and management fees, this typically means that an online donation of £10 becomes a park investment of £11.53 (after paying platform and management fees).

So the project receives your £10 donation and the ‘extra’ £1.53 is invested in the Parks4Life endowment fund which supports the long term future of our wonderful parks.

Please notify MyParkScotland if you:

- want to cancel this declaration
- change your name or home address
- no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains

If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code
