Closing today we are really pleased that the Friends of Starbank Park project to create a Hans Christian Anderson Childrens Nature Trail within the park has reached it’s funding target.
The 70m will wind through the trees in the west border beside the boundary wall of the park. Inspired by Hans Christian Anderson each story will have its own area, each with a statue of the main character and insect friendly flowers and bushes that are relevant to the story.
The Friends have worked hard to reach their target of £5,2oo for the trail with the current total standing at £5,255. If you would like to support this project to let the Children’s Nature Trail project by TEXT. Just text the project code (FOSP50) plus an amount to 70070 – for example: ‘FOSP50 £5‘ to donate £5.
