This is the place to get an introduction to our unique landscape, how it formed and why it looks the way it does. A well-constructed path takes a short and steep climb to amazing views across to Stac Pollaidh and beyond. Take a walk through Deep Time from 3 Billion years ago to the modern crofting landscape of today.
Please wear suitable clothing for the Scottish Highlands. On a nice day we may stop for a picnic at the top so bring some sandwiches if you wish. Sensible dogs welcome.
Directions: 13 miles (21km) north of Ullapool on the A835 road. 2.5 miles south of Elphin.
