Walk along the waterway and visit the Museum of Water – 19th of April 2pm
Join Friends of the River Kelvin (FORK) to celebrate Glasgow’s Year of Green by taking part in a guided walk to the Museum of Water.
Meet with FORK member Lyn Dunachie at 2pm on Sunday 19th April, 2015 at Maggie’s Gatehouse, beside Kelvingrove Art Gallery. As you walk towards the art installation “Museum of Water” in the Kibble Palace you will find out how water has been used as a source of power to feed and clothe us, how Glaswegians celebrated the first clean supply and how the Kelvin has become a haven for walkers and wildlife.

Destination: Museum of Water, Kibble Palace

The walk will take about an hour, it’s up to you how long you spend at The Museum of Water, please dress for the weather.
