Take a walk along the spine of old Glasgow, from the medieval cathedral to the River Clyde.
See some reminders of how pioneers of public health – in all its forms – saved the inner city from overcrowded housing, poor drinking water and sanitation, unhealthy diets, epidemics, and airborne pollution. Dr Ronnie Scott, a historian of Glasgow, will also show how the present city reflects changing attitudes to health and disease prevention.
Tickets cost £5 and must be booked in advance by phone 02920546460.
