MyParkScotland is a direct response to the funding challenges facing Scotland’s parks. The project will develop a web-based platform that combines elements of crowdfunding for local projects with an investment strategy for developing sustainability and endowment funds. It will also provide a ‘parks-portal’ with info about park events, activities and facilities. greenspace scotland is pioneering the development of MyParkScotland in Edinburgh and Glasgow – with the longer term intention to roll-out Scoland-wide.
This video is part of a Rethinking Parks application to Nesta and Heritage Lottery Fund.
