Over the past few years the Friends of Glasgow’s Local Nature Reserves have erected a variety of bird and bat boxes in Dawsholm Park Local Nature Reserve. This year we are pleased to report that 8 of the 11 ‘tit’ boxes were occupied and a Blue Tit family set up home in a bat box!
I am part of the Friends of Glasgows Local Nature reserves group and have enjoyed volunteering to put up the boxes and litter picking. Its great to see that everyone’s efforts are rewarded with the boxes being used and giving nature a little bit of a helping hand. Well done guys.
Nice story. Good work all!
