Park Stories

I went Batty Twice

This story is about: Rosshall Park, Glasgow
Shared by: Roborob

I went to the Go Batty events in Rosshall Park twice. First was an eye opener with bat detectors loaned from a University we detected the Bat scouts then the bats came in force swooping around us as or detectors went nuts. It was fantastic.

I went twice over the years to find out if the bats roust had been found but alas it had not. but the second time we traced the bats to the river and got some fantastic views of the bats.

And to dispel myths Bats can see us with there ultrasound and will not get tangled in our hair.
