This story is about: Prestonfield Park, Edinburgh

Played at this park all the time long before the new Cameron House was built on it. The pathway used to be grey cinder and i loved doing big fast broadsides on my bike pretending to be a speedway rider. We also had up to 20 a side football on Sunday’s between Prestonfield and Preistfield lads and sometimes lasses. Sometimes if you behaved you could have a wee shot of the bowling green. Prestonfield primary school had its sports day in the park also with help from local bobby Ronnie Gillies. Many happy times.
