More Than a Bread Oven Day!
FROGGS (Friends of Garnethill Green Spaces) welcome new GSA students and everyone else to the park on Saturday 14th September.
The bread oven will be ready for pizza cooking sometime around noon. You can bring your own dough too.
More than that, though, a team of crafty artists from FROGGS, Zigzag Arts, Extinction Rebellion and St Andrew’s West Eco Congregation, will lead the weaving of an Oceans and Pollution themed tapestry, using found and donated materials.
More than that, at 11am, a team of litter-pickers will head over to our nearby waterway, Forth and Clyde Canal at Spiers Wharf, to do a wee clean up of the pathways as our contribution to Upstream Battle, a Keep Scotland Beautiful Week of Action 14th – 23rd September.
