Park information

Extensive, unusually shaped local park, Abbeyview Park is located at the end of the main access to the Abbeyview Housing area. The whole area appears to be in the process of regeneration, with old flats around the boundaries being demolished.

The greenspace surrounds the local indoor/ outdoor bowling green daycare centre, community centre, shops and library. Facilities comprise, MUGA, teen play equipment, teenshelter, sports pitch, amphitheatre, play area, maze ornamental planting area and earth mounds. A network of wide paths run around and divide up the space, together with semi mature standard trees running along paths.
