An attractive unusual greenspace, comprising mature (predominantly beech) woodland, on a steep hillside within Newport. Bounded on two sides by stone walls and the others a hedge. Paths cross the site and pieces of play equipment are located on more level areas.
The upper part of the site is a rock outcrop and a bench affords views through the tree canopy to the forth of Tay and road bridge. The elegant silver beech trunks, mown grass, open views and spring bulbs combine to create a unique greenspace within the town/village.
