Haugh Park is an historic park in the centre of Cupar. The park is a classic town park, with many good features, such as mature trees, benches, picnic tables.
The River Eden flows through the park and there is a tree lined walkway along the river, otters have been seen during the day in the river. A bronze winged angel like sculpture stands above a grand and monumental war memorial. Well used during the summer for concerts is a 117 years old bandstand.
There is a less than ten years old play area which has a good amount of play equipment. Adults can use the outdoor exercise equipment. A wildflower meadow has been sown in recent years in the park, is full of colourful flowers and attracts bumblebees and butterflies. Across the road from the park is free toilets and car park.
The name Cupar is Pictish and means where the two rivers meet and the park is situated where these two rivers meet.
