This elevated park is surrounded by housing on every side, except to the west, where there is some woodland. The park has great open views towards the north, over to the Braes area, Falkirk, Grangemouth and the refinery, and the northern margin of the river Forth.
In the centre of the park there is a flag pole and an inscrbed stone marking the spot William Wallace stood and watched the approach of the English army from Linlithgow before the Battle of Falkirk in July 1298. The park contains paths, seating and a playspace.
