Resources for parks and greenspace crowdfunding launched!

27th June 2017 Leave a Comment

Crowdfund Resource Kit image
It’s two years since we launched MyParkScotland and we have been supporting groups with their crowdfunding projects through training, mentoring and workshop sessions. We have now pulled all of this experience together, and worked with crowdfunding experts at Twintangibles, to prepare the MyParkScotland Crowdfunding Resource Kit which is launched today.

The MyParkScotland Crowdfund Resource Kit has been designed to help groups wanting to crowdfund for parks and greenspace projects.

Funded by Awards for All, the Resource Kit introduces and explains the concept of crowdfunding and helps groups plan, run and deliver their crowdfunding campaigns. Included within the Resource Kit is the Crowdfunding Campaign Planning Worksheet – this editable document is designed to help groups think about key elements of their crowdfunding campaign including growing your “crowd”, getting the messaging right, how to get that message across and what to do when your campaign is complete.

The Resource Kit is designed to help groups plan their campaign before pressing “go” and working through the Kit will help increase the likelihood of the campaign being successful.

To download the Resource Kit please visit the Crowdfund Resource Kit page.

If you have a project idea for your local park or greenspace and are interested in the idea of crowdfunding to make this happen then please drop an email to hello@mypark.scot to discuss crowdfunding through MyParkScotland.

If you want to keep up to date with MyParkScotland please subscribe to our ebulletin.
